Abstract
The antepartum diagnosis of [human] conjoined twins is difficult but extremely important for maximization of infant viability and reduction of maternal morbidity. Certain characteristic sonographic and radiological features of anteriorly joined twins allow the diagnosis to be made with some certainty. A case of thoraco-omphalopagus twins, in which the prepartum diagnosis was made according to these criteria, is described. The impact of early diagnosis on obstetric management is discussed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
