Abstract
19 cases of lobar pneumonia treated with sulfapyridine were studied for the appearance of type-specific antibodies in the blood serum, as judged by the precipitin reaction with specific polysaccharide. In only 4 instances was an excess of antibodies demonstrated, and in these cases antibodies were not noted until after the patient''s temp. had been normal about a week.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
