Abstract
We have calculated the global anisotropy of 3K background radiation due to a moving cosmic string, extending the Kaiser and Stebbin’s results. Under some assumptions, two cases are considered; one is that the obserber is far from the region of the curvature radius of the string and the other is that the observer is regarded to be within that region. If the observer is within the size of the curvature radius, the variation of 3K background radiation extends in all directions. In some cases, the discontinuity along the string is not so distinctive. From the upper limit of the observed background fluctuation at small angle, the constant of µ≤(8.3 ×10-7)/ β is estimated, where µ and β are the line density and velocity of string respectively.
