Abstract
A noninvasive method for the treatment of urolithiasis is described. By means of focussed shock waves generated outside the body, stones in the lower urinary tract are destroyed and rendered fit for spontaneous discharge. Thereby the number of operations, as well as the recurrence rate are substantially reduced. Keywords
