Abstract
A patient with bilateral Salzmann's nodular degeneration developed a myopic shift of 9 diopters in the right eye and 5 diopters in the left eye after removal of his nodules. This previously unreported complication of removal of peripheral corneal pathology is discussed in light of our current understanding of keratorefractive surgery. Keywords
