Abstract
The static magnetization of a very dilute PdFe alloy containing 700‐ppm Fe has been measured as a function of temperature, between 0.05 and 1.0 K, and in applied magnetic fields between 0 and 10 Oe. Comparison of the experimental data with numerical calculations based on a mean‐field effective‐field model for bond‐disordered systems with arbitrary spin suggests that the alloy is in the reentrant regime of the magnetic phase diagram. Measurement of the time dependence of the thermoremanent magnetization is consistent with a logarithmic, and possibly a stretched exponential, decay. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
