Abstract
The Francis scale of attitude towards Christianity Form ASC4B, developed originally for use among eight to 16‐year‐olds in non‐denominational schools was completed by 3114 pupils between the ages of 12 and 18 in Roman Catholic state maintained secondary schools. The results support the reliability and unidimensionality of the scale among this different population and extended age range. Norms are presented for pupils attending state maintained Catholic secondary schools, for boys and girls from each year group separately. Keywords
