Abstract
Tolbutamide-induced hypoglycemia represents a practical and promising form of EEG activation, especially in patients with temporal lobe lesions. It imposes a mild, reversible physiologic stress which, while yielding information of diagnostic value in over half of the cases, is safe in patients with severe neurologic deficit. Keywords
