Abstract
Among the earlier investigators, attempts to cultivate trypanosomes in NNN medium were made by Petrie (1905) and Brumpt (1906a), who isolated Trypanosoma denilewskyi and T. granulosum, respectively, but failed to estabilsh them in subculture.Keywords
