Abstract
An X‐band ESR study of γ‐irradiated single crystals of K2PdCl4 and (NH4)2PdCl4 has been made at 77°K. Two radicals are observed, one of which is shown to be PdCl43− with a configuration and ground state; the complete , and tensors have been reported for this species. The second radical is believed to be PdCl52−, and its ESR parameters are presented and discussed.
