Abstract
The problem of signal transmission by means of a pair of synchronized chaotic systems (transmitter and receiver) is considered. The approach of adaptive observations is used for design of the receiver. Two kinds of adaptive algorithms are investigated in presence of additive noise in the channel. The results are illustrated by a number of numerical examples of signal transmission based on the pairs of synchronizing Chua, Duffing and Metzler systems. Keywords
