Abstract
The C10 and C12 acids were present in lower amounts and the C16, C16 1=, and C18 1= in higher amounts in the milk fat from the Holstein breed as compared with that of Guernsey and Jersey breeds. While the differences were consistent and statistically significant, the actual order of magnitude is not great enough to materially affect the gross characteristics of the fat. Keywords
