Abstract
Formulas are obtained for the terminal voltages of a transmission line consisting of three conductors immersed in a homogeneous medium. No simultaneous equations need be solved and the result does not require that the line be electrically short. Typical applications are lines composed of three wires, two wires above a ground plane, and two wires within a cylindrical shield. Certain interesting properties of the solution are also obtained. Keywords
