Abstract
Pentacarbonyl[(alkynyl)(methoxy)carbene]metals undergo [3+2] dipolar cycloaddition on treatment with masked azomethine imine or azimine ylides to give pentacarbonyl[(alkyl or arylheteryl)(methoxy)carbene]metals in good yields (40-85%).Keywords
