Abstract
The authors have attempted to establish statistically sound criteria for the limits of normal for conventional ophthalmodynamometry for both systolic and diastolic readings. Another technic, the amblyopia method, is described. This method is quickly and easily performed and is comparable in reliability to the direct method. While not intended to replace the direct method, which gives both systolic and diastolic reading, the amblyopia method can be used as a rapid screening test by many physicians except in cases of amaurosis of different origins. Keywords
