Abstract
The equation of state of the baryonic matter containing nucleons and delta particles using the derivative scalar coupling model is studied. Comparison of the results with those obtained in a nonlinear σ-ω model yields the same equilibrium value of the effective mass and the compressibility constant. Keywords
