Abstract
The branching ratios and photoelectron angular distributions for the ground state of N2+ have been measured over the photon energy range 22-44 eV. The angular distribution measurements for nu '=0 blend in quite well with earlier data, extending them to higher energies, and, for nu '=1, agreement with earlier branching ratio data is good; the results for nu '=2, for which no measurements were available previously, agree best with calculations by Lucchese and McKoy (1981). In the case of the authors' data for the angular distribution parameters for the nu '=1 and nu '=2 levels, combined with those of other authors at lower photon energies, agreement with theory is less satisfactory.
