Abstract
A man with advanced Paget''s disease was successfully treated with Didronel. All indicators of disease activity were in remission for 2 yr post-therapy. Although sequential radiographs obtained before and after treatment showed slight changes that might have reflected a reparative process, bone scintigraphs revealed more prominent changes, so that radionuclide bone imaging could well be considered as the follow-up imaging study of choice after treatment of Paget''s disease.
