Abstract
Investigated personality correlates of cinematographic creativity in 17 Ss chosen for their cinematographic achievements. Compared to controls, cinematographers obtained significantly higher means on several California Psychological Inventory and Edwards Personal Preference Schedule scales, generating a portrayal of self-confident, achievement-oriented individuals with a great need to experience change and novelty and less need to conform to convention.
