Abstract

Reflux into the prostate, seminal vesicles and vas deferens is a common accompaniment of inflammatory disease, particularly if there is associated urethral stricture. This phenomenon may also follow surgical or functional disturbances of the bladder neck. Postvoiding roentgenograms are important in evaluating the source of epididymitis and chronic pyuria.
