Abstract
A fatigue residual strength degradation model has been generalized to account for the effect of tension-compression fatigue loading. The model is verified experimentally by use of graphite/epoxy unnotched composite laminates. It is shown that the correlation between the experimental results and the theoretical predictions on both the residual strength degradation and fatigue life is very reasonable. Keywords
