Abstract
A virus was isolated in Egypt from brain and liver collected from domestic pigeons suffering from nervous disorders. The morphological and biophysical properties of the virus were consistent with it being a member of the familyHerpetoviridae. Antigenically the virus was closely related to if not identical with pigeon herpes encephalomyelitis virus. Keywords
