Abstract
The author believes the use of intraven. Na amytal and related drugs aids in differentiating neuroses from psychoses. Mental contents not revealed before are disclosed in about 1/2 of the patients. The drugs are being used to determine which patients will respond favorably to shock treatment. In treatment, the drugs can be used for suggestion, in catharsis, and as an adjunct to psychotherapy. The need for further study and information on these problems is stressed. 29 refs. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
