Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine whether white blood cell imaging in inflammatory conditions is due to a blood pool effect as a result of an increased vascularity and vascular permeability, or whether cellular migration is the major contributing factor. It will be shown that white cell uptake is a specific phenomenon in the rheumatoid knee joint and not just a blood pool effect. Keywords
