Abstract
Summary: Evidence is presented for the presence of various structural types in the cyclic product obtained by thermal polymerization of methyl β‐eleostearate under mild conditions. Of these types a 1,2‐dialkyl‐3,5‐cyclohexadiene is probably the primary product.
