Abstract
Seven flavonoid C-glycosides were isolated from the moss Mnium undulatum Hedw. [Plagiomnium undulatum (Hedw.) P. Kop.], saponarin, schaftoside, neoschaftoside, isoschaftoside, neoisoschaftoside and vicenin-2. A previously unknown 6,8-di-C-glycoside is reported: A chrysoeriol 6-C-arabinosyl-8-C-hexoside. 13C NMR spectra of saponarin, schaftoside, isoschaftoside and vicenin-2 were measured and used for the structure determinations. The structures of the other 3 compounds were determined using UV, 1H NMR, acid treatment and the mass spectroscopy of the permethyl ethers. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
