Abstract
A NEURYSMS of the superior pancreaticoduodenal artery are extremely rare surgical lesions. In 1952 Sampsel et al.1 reported a case of aneurysm involving an anomalous pancreaticoduodenal artery. This was the first incident of an aneurysm occurring in this location in the American literature. Recently, Hendrick2 presented the first case report of an aneurysm of the superior pancreaticoduodenal artery treated successfully by excision. Since only 2 cases of aneurysm in this location and only 1 treated by excision have previously been described, we consider the second case successfully treated by surgical excision to be worth reporting.
