Abstract
B. truncatus is considered to be a suitable host for the complete development of that part of the life history of S. haematobium concerned with this snail, irrespective of whether or not this host was previously infected by the same schistosome species. A first infection of B. truncatus does not produce an immunity to a subsequent infection with S. haematobium. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
