Abstract
Laboratory reared O. folsomi (Schaffer) were incubated at 15.5.degree. C and 21.1.degree. C through their lifetime. The dorsal chaetotaxy of the 5th abdominal segment, from 1st to 7th instar, is described as it developed. The chaetotaxy of the 1st thoracic segment was of taxonomic value only up to the 2nd instar. Development of the setal pattern for male and female genital plates are presented. Variation of the male ventral organ is described with changes in setal morphology from 1st-34th instar.
