Abstract
An agar medium was developed which proved especially useful for isolating cultures of Boletaceae. The addition of small amounts of safflower oil (2.5 mg/l) to liquid media stimulated mycelial growth of species of Boletaceae tested. A major increase in mycelial growth occurred during the 1st wk of shake culture in media to which oil was added. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
