Abstract
Fibre strength measurements according to IEC 793-1-3 were performed on draw-tower fibre Bragg gratings (FBGs), including an evaluation of the stress corrosion susceptibility parameter. The FBGs suffer nearly no loss of strength, even though we wrote gratings with an index modulation more than three times higher than published recently. Keywords
