Abstract
5α-Pregnane-3,20-dione was produced from both pregnenolone and progesterone by homogenates of normal or hyperplastic tissue from adult human adrenals. In contrast, it could not be detected as a product of progesterone in incubations with adrenals from early human fetuses. Keywords
