Tissue Reaction to Antigonorrheal Drugs

Abstract
Various concentrations of mercurochrome, acriflavine, protargol, argyrol, AgNO3, necaron, KMnO4, and normal saline were injected into the skin of rabbits and were dropped into the conjunctival sac. There were great differences in the severity of the reactions. Acriflavine appeared to be the least irritant. Detailed descriptions of the histological sections are given.
