Abstract
A plausible explanation for the overwhelming incidence of thromboangiitis obliterans with gangrene in lower limbs (as compared to that in upper limbs) in a series of about 1000 cases is given. Based on that a simple local operative procedure is proposed to replace lumbar sympathectomy in early cases. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
