Abstract
Depending on the severity of the clinical problem, 3 categories of treatment (home, outpatient and hospital) were utilized in 82 patients whose conditions met the strict criteria for cervical radiculitis. Details of the clinical picture, laboratory findings, electromyographic examinations, category and results of treatment are detailed. The follow-up results in 59 patients contacted 1-2 yr after the initial treatment are also included. Of the patients, 80% had good-excellent results when treated with conservative therapy during the initial episode; 71% continued to have good-excellent results after 1-2 yr. Of those patients who were followed, 17% required a laminectomy. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
