A study of growth defects in lead germanate crystals

Abstract
The growth of high-quality lead germanate single crystals is described, and the control of the various factors necessary to produce such crystals is detailed. The observations of a facet effect and a strong resistance to morphology changes in such crystals is discussed.Keywords
