Subharmonic Bragg effects in almost periodic media

Abstract

Subharmonic Bragg effects are exhibited by structures with an almost periodic permittivity. This resonance is manifested by appreciable reflection and is chracterized by coupled mode equations with appropriately derived coefficients.
