Abstract
SUMMARY En bloc transplantation involving liver, spleen, pancreas, and duodenum was successfully carried out in the rat. While operative mortality due to technical failure was 31%, of those that survived over 95% of the isografts had normal histology up to 4.5 months. Rejection reaction in the allografts first appeared in the liver and the spleen, followed by the pancreas and the duodenum, and was complete by day 14. No gross evidence of graft-versus-host reaction was observed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
