Abstract
The zymogen of parapepsin II, isolated from extracts of porcine gastric mucosa, is rapidly converted into the enzyme at pH 20 and more slowly at pH values above 4.0. The zymogen has one N-terminal residue and a molecular weight close to that of the znyme. Keywords
