Basal cell nevus syndrome in a black patient: report of a case and review of the literature

Abstract
An 80-yr-old black man had multiple basal cell epitheliomas (BCE), palmar pits and mandibular cysts. This patient is unusual, not only because of multiple BCE, but also because they developed when the patient was at age 77. Only 3 other black patients with multiple BCE in association with basal cell nevus syndrome were reported previously.
