Mean field dynamics of fermions and the time-dependent Hartree-Fock equation
Abstract
In this article we consider the Hamiltonian dynamics of systems of fermions and derive the time-dependent Hartree-Fock equation in the mean field limit. We follow the approach of Spohn, who derived the time-dependent Hartree equation for mean field systems of distinguishable particles, remarking at the time that "the convergence of the mean field limit with statistics included is an open problem."Keywords
