Abstract
In this article the application of microwave dielectric heating in chemistry is reviewed. The principle of microwave dielectric heating is described and relevant instrumentation is described briefly. The effects observed following microwave heating are discussed. Specific attention is given to chemical reactions which have been carried out advantageously in a microwave oven. Keywords
