29Si-Kernresonanzmessungen an Siliciumhalogeniden / 29Si NMR Studies on Silicon Halogenides

Abstract
The 22Si NMR spectra of the mixed halides of silicon, SiWXYZ, W, X, Y, Z = Cl, Br, J, have been recorded. The chemical shift of these compounds can be rationalized in terms of substituent effects. Relations to the isoelectronic aluminium and phosphorus compounds are discussed. The 99Si spectra of the simple chloropolysilanes have been assigned. A complication arises from the fact that SiCl3- and SiCl2-groups give about the same values of the chemical shift.
