Abstract
The introduction of Al, Zn, Mg, Ca, or Cd in produces a new crystal phase which is probably isomorphous with . Activated with in this Sr‐orthophosphate gives a strong luminescence with a maximum at bout 6300Aå under excitation with 2537Aå.Keywords
