Abstract
Summary The membrane fraction of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) of the frog (Rana pipiens) catalyzed the esterification of tritiated retinol to retinyl esters. This esterification reaction was inhibited in the presence of 3,4-didehydroretinol.Keywords
