Electric dipolar echoes in smoky quartz

Abstract
Electric dipolar echoes are observed in gamma irradiated natural quartz crystal in the 5 to 20 mK range at a frequency of 360 MHz. Studying the behaviour of both spontaneous and stimulated echoes, their dependance on the input pulse amplitude and their decay in time, we are led to think that there are two kinds of dipoles ; their transverse and longitudinal electric moments are evaluated ; their density of state is also extractedKeywords
