Abstract
We propose a reduced complexity antenna diversity combiner-equalizer receiver structure to combat multipath fading in cellular mobile radio (CMR) communications. The technique utilizes block adaptation based on interpolated channel estimates and linear or decision feedback equalization. The receiver offers complexity reduction relative to previously proposed block adaptation methods without sacrificing performance.Keywords
