Abstract
In a double-blind trial the response to treatment with Ferro-Gradume (a slow-release preparation of ferrous sulphate) has been compared in the same individuals with the response to ferrous fumarate in a single daily dose regimen using a similar dose of iron. No significant difference was found in the therapeutic response or in the incidence of side-effects between the two preparations. Keywords
