Abstract
Analysis of the monthly and yearly incidences of collisions in the past 9 years indicates that the control program instituted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has had little effect. It is suggested that the "management procedures", including "terrain modification," may have actually increased the number of collisions between the albatrosses (Diomedea immutabilis) and the military planes.
