Abstract
Norepinephrine causedin vitro an accumulation of cyclic AMP in slices of the cerebellum from pcd mice which was 300 percent greater than in cerebella from age-matched, heterozygous, normal mice. Purkinje cells had disappeared in the pcd mice at the time when the exaggerated hormonal response was seen. The data indicate that high cyclic AMP accumulation can take place in cerebellar cells other than Purkinje cells. Keywords
